The Austin Marathon has moved to April 25, 2021 and has been modified to be a half marathon, 5K, and 1- mile run. No full 26.2 marathon will be run in 2021. This date was chosen with the confidence of Austin Public Health that we could safely coordinate and plan an in person event. See our full COVID-19 Plan.

 

We are excited about the opportunity to use this alternative date and have a great event in the works for April 25, 2021. As always have the health and well-being of our team, participants, and volunteers will always be our first priority.  And yes, we will be extending our 30th Anniversary celebrations through 2022 so that we can properly include our full 26.2 distance.
