Welcome to the Ascension Seton CapTex Tri presented by Lifetime, Austin's Premier Triathlon! We are excited to celebrate our 33rd year on May 26th, 2025! This Memorial Day Weekend race draws athletes from all over the world to kick off summer in Austin, Texas, the Live Music Capital of the World.
The race begins with a swim in Lady Bird Lake with beautiful views of the downtown Austin skyline. The bike course takes athletes down historic Congress Avenue, right to the heart of downtown Austin. The race concludes with a run with panoramic views of downtown before the rousing finish and post-race party at Auditorium Shores (Vic Mathias Shores).
Celebrate Memorial Day weekend by joining the festivities at the Expo and Finish Line Festival in our culture-rich city and truly experience The Live Music Capital of the World! There is no other town in Texas like Austin, and being a part of the weekend in the #1 city in America will be an experience you’ll never forget as you share your products, services, and ideas to triathletes from all over the world. Not only are booths available at the Expo at the Palmer Events Center on Sunday, May 25th, but also at the Finish Line Festival on race day Monday, May 26th.
