The Texas State Sprint Triathlon is the Original and Classic Triathlon at the Meadows Center, formerly Aquarena Springs. This triathlon event has been hosted by the Texas State Triathlon Club and Alumni since 1999. This event is the primary fundraiser so the Club can travel to Collegiate Nationals and represent our State and University.

This event is open to and welcomes all levels of participation with a-
- 400 meter swim
-12 mile bike
-3 mile run
We will also have a Relay Team option to encourage entry into the sport.
Price Increases on all Events on February 1st and March 15th.

No Refunds
The swim is the best swim in Texas in the Spring Lake with clear visibility and fresh waters. This is one of the only times in the whole year people are allowed to swim in this Lake. The year around water temp is just over 70 degrees so wetsuits will be allowed.
The bike course is mostly flat our Post Rd with some rolling hills.
The run course is part on the road and part cross-country ending in a downhill in the shade. There is one good climb on this course.
The Texas State Triathlon Club is aware of the environmental emphasis at the Meadows Center. We strive to reinforce this emphasis through this event. We want to work with the Center so that the majority of the participants are aware of what the area means to Central Texas.
The Club also has a focus of contributing the development of our sport and athletes. We encourage beginners and youth to come to TRI IT. If you feel you are not ready for the swim, bike and run, come out and BE A PART by Ruining or Walking the 3 mile course.
